I have has been teaching yoga for 20 years. I describe my classes as a way of helping to restore natural movement and function to the physical body, as well as calm and quiet to the mind.
I try to make them work for just about anyone, regardless of age, gender, body size, or fitness level.
I did my teacher training with Esther Myers and I still take classes, workshops and teacher trainings at Esther Myers Studio.
I have also done lots of additional training, including, Yoga for Anxiety with Tama Soble, Restorative Yoga with Bo Forbes, Functional Movement with Peter Blackaby and The Essential Low Back Program with Robin Rothenberg.
Shelly offers her gentle, all-levels Hatha yoga class in the studio at Boomerang on Thursday evenings at 6:45 pm.
