Group mat & reformer classes & Private/ semi-private sessions
A lifelong athlete with a passion for longevity and functionality in movement at all ages, Emily loves playing around in that awesome intersection between strength-based training modalities and Restorative movement. Having grown up playing sports and curious to know more about movement and our bodies after working in sedentary desk jobs for several years, Emily completed her Mat Pilates teacher training with Leslie Parker at Mindful Movement Centre, as well as a Restorative Pilates certification with Evelyn Charters, and the BoneFit training program through Osteoporosis Canada. Always eager to learn more about the body and movement, she has continued to layer elements into her teaching practice through the Reformer certification program at Mindful Movement Centre.
She now seamlessly weaves together her many years of training for soccer, curling, and Ultimate Frisbee with her Pilates and BoneFit training to build programs that ensure safe and effective movement and strengthening for people of all ages and movement backgrounds.
Emily teaches our osteoporosis-friendly Better Bones & Backs class both online and in-studio and loves her Equipment Explorations equipment circuit class. Want to deepen your Pilates practice, gain skill on the reformer and other equipment and get strong and mobile? That's the class for you!
