Pilates was the one thing that helped me reclaim my body and my life, offering both relief and a path forward.
My journey to understanding chronic pain and emotional well-being began with exploring nutrition’s impact on health, leading to my certification as a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant (CSNN, Toronto, 2018). While nutrition gave me the tools to fuel my body and support my mental health, Pilates became the missing piece that allowed me to fully connect with my body on a physical and emotional level. My Pilates journey began at Boomerang Studio, where the warm, approachable teachers inspired me with their kindness and strength. Their thoughtful guidance made Pilates accessible and welcoming, sparking my passion for the practice and opening the door to a new and exciting vocation. Through its movements and exercises, Pilates has fostered a deep kinesthetic awareness that has allowed me to feel more settled in my body than ever before. It’s an empowering feeling—one that has profoundly changed my relationship with my body, and one I am passionate about sharing with others. Certified through Body Harmonics as a Pilates and Movement Teacher, I am dedicated to making this transformative practice accessible to all, regardless of experience or physical condition. My goal is to empower others to move with ease, strength, and confidence, just as Pilates has done for me. |
