Sue Seto

Feldenkrais® Group classes

Sue is a Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® and a member of the Feldenkrais Guild of North America, who graduated from the Institute for the Study of Somatic Education, San Francisco, CA.
​
Sue also completed several Advanced Feldenkrais® Training sessions in Berkeley CA, Chicago Il, San Francisco CA, Kingston ON and Toronto ON, specializing in Awareness Through Movement® classes and Functional Integration® sessions with a concentration in reducing pain and improving function, mobility and enhancing performance, while improving body awareness.
While in California, Sue taught public and private Feldenkrais® lessons in Mill Valley, outside of San Francisco across from the Golden Gate Bridge.

Sue benefited directly from The Feldenkrais Method® by attending Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® classes and individual Functional Integration® sessions.  These sessions became an integral part of her recovery from a severe car accident followed by subsequent injuries.
 
The Feldenkrais Method® introduces new movement patterns helping to manage arthritic and chronic pain, improve mobility, walking and sitting. Reorganizing and realigning movement, assisted Sue in delaying an inevitable total knee replacement for many years.

The Feldenkrais Method® has also been instrumental in the recovery from this major surgery by optimizing efficient and effortless movement patterns.

Previously, Sue helped others enhance their lives in one-to-one, group and classroom settings, while working in teaching and social work capacities.
 
Holding Degrees in Psychology, Education and a Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences, Sue worked in community, residential, college and hospital settings. She retired from Ombudsman Ontario, where she helped to improve the lives of Ontario residents.
 
She continues to help others improve their lives and health by bringing the Feldenkrais Method® to West End Toronto.  She is the owner and operator of Feldenkrais Toronto West.

Sue offers workshops and group classes called Awareness Through Movement® (ATM®) as well as individual sessions called Functional Integration® lessons (FI®).  Functional Integration® lessons are customized to address your specific needs and goals.
